The en suite rooms have splendid lakeside or garden views and guests can also stay in the adjacent accommodation, converted from old farm buildings. All rooms have TVs, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities.
The location of the hotel was amazing, so picturesque. There are hiking trails close by or if you wish to be more laid back you can chill by the lake or in the community area of the hotel. I wish we stayed longer.

All of the rooms are smart TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
I will never forget my stay at this hotel. For the first time in my life I arrived at a hotel, recommended by a doctor by email to seek an urgent examination at a hospital. After five minutes at Spilman, I walked to the Carmarthen general hospital, arriving there at 16:40 on 12 June. I eventually returned to the hotel by taxi at 02:30 a.m the following morning. My room became a cosy home for the rest of my stay. The weather was disappointing, and my initial plans for sightseeing had to be modified, but because of the atmosphere at the Spilman, I will always retain happy memories of Carmarthen. My chances of returning to Wales are not high, but Spilman would be at the top of my priorities if I did.

Very stylish interior design. Well-equipped with everything needed. Clean, comfortable and home-like. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Excellent location. This is the best holiday house I have ever stayed. Definitely wish to return in future!
Everything! Cooked breakfast was exceptional - bacon and sausage were from a renowned butcher in Bala - although other options were also available. More than plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room - never needed to ask for refills! The beds were a little too comfortable - deep and fresh - and the interior design was tasteful but classy. Parking was directly opposite - a permit could be provided if needed.
The property was a stunning blend of traditional and modern decoration, very well designed and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was really lovely; tasty, well presented in a gorgeous a dining room.
Excellent interior design - very stylish and well designed, loved all the antiques. The setting is beautiful with stunning views. Also being isolated is great, however you are only 5 minutes by car to the town - great location.
Everything about this boutique hotel is A* / 5 star. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and designed to the highest standard. Customer service-wise - the staff and hosts are amazing. Nothing is too much hassle! Finally, the breakfast is fantastic, compliments to the chef.
Fabulous quality breakfast, lovely suite with super bathroom, comfy beds and designer touches and fabulous lighting , great location with a couple of great restaurants nearby, Chic trendy decor, lovely little fun bar and all good value for money.
The hotel is set in a stunning location on the sea front. It is near to the pier, town centre and only a short walk from the Great Orme Tram station. The interior design is beautiful, the rooms were lovely and very clean. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was seriously impressed with the gluten free options available in the restaurant and also the knowledgeability of the staff on the matter of gluten free food and avoiding contamination by other foods. Such a good holiday that I've already booked to stay here again.
