El Piccolo Hotel goza de una ubicación tranquila, a 8 minutos a pie de la estación de tren de Locarno y del centro de la ciudad. Hotel pequeño y muy acogedor. A 10 minutos andando al borde del lago Los anfitriones encantadores, nos llamaron por teléfono para interesarse donde estabamos porque la recepción cierra a las 19 h. Nos dejaron la llave para poder entrar e información de autobuses, sitios a donde ir . El edificio es antiguo pero muy bien cuidado, la decoración es muy bonita La habitación y el baño amplios y limpios. Tiene aire acondicionado Muy buen desayuno en una galería muy acogedora A 20 m. del hotel hay unas plazas reservadas en donde puedes aparcar el coche Repetiría y lo recomiendo

Best hotel ever!! The lake views, the staff, the spacious room, the balcony, the restaurant (amazing Italian food with unbelievably friendly and professional waiters), the gym (again with lake views), the pool (right on the lake), the direct deck to the lake. There was a problem with the vent (smell from the kitchen vent reached the room). I told the front desk and immediately got another room - with an even better view. Such a combination of friendliness and high-end service. I want to bring all my family and friends to enjoy this hotel, and will definitely be back.

El Hotel Tamaro es una antigua casa señorial del siglo XVIII, situada a orillas del lago Mayor, en el centro de Ascona. Beautifully appointed hotel, right on the promenade. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we are is Ascona.

Location is great in the central, 10 minutes walk from the train station. The view from the windows is amazing at the lakeside. Staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast place has a nice atmosphere and they offer several varieties for breakfast in good quality.
