I loved the breakfast included various choices, excellent quality of hot and cold dishes, delicious cheese selection. Having great breakfast on the terrace in this 'old' building watching the mountains and enjoying the beautiful environment with fresh air early morning..it is unforgettable.

All rooms at Hotel Alphorn come with a flat-screen cable TV including international news channels, and small bathrooms with showers. They are decorated in marine colours with white furniture. The hotel owner and her staff were absolutely amazing. Kind, attentive but not nagging at all. The breakfast was to die for. While we rarely take pictures of our food, we simply had to take a photo of the meticulously designed fruit bowls, containing all sorts of fresh fruit. The breakfast was simply outstanding. Rich, but not wasteful. The accommodation itself was precisely what you'd expect. Comfortable, not too big, but definitely not small. Note there is no AC, but considering it's Interlaken and the nights are cooler, that's not a problem, if you're not staying the whole day in your room. Finally, the hotel is about 3 minutes from Interlaken West, which is outstanding if you're going to explore the area with public transport. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel at home. This hotel really surprised me, the service quality was way higher compared to other hotels I visited in Switzerland in a similar price range. You can really see how they put attention into the smallest details. Hotel staff was prepared and professional. The location is in the heart of the old town in a historical building.
