Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Unbelievable place, dramatic view! Hotel was very clean. Despite the weather, it was warm in the room. Special thanks to Adam for the hospitable reception! We will definitely come back!

The Swiss-style rooms are pleasantly and comfortably furnished. Most rooms also offer spectacular views of the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The view was incredible, and the most friendly people work here.

Cosy and relaxed Eiger Guesthouse is located opposite the BLM train station in Mürren, with a splendid view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains.

All rooms are accessible with a lift or spiral stair. All rooms are equiped with TV, free wifi and with a hairdryer. The staff was really nice and friendly! Also, the rooms were really clean and with amazing views!! It was probably the best place we stayed in the entire trip!! Definitely coming back!

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train. Some rooms have a mountain-view balcony and the hotel features an award-winning restaurant which serves a variety of quality cuisine using fresh local products. The location was excellent. Staff is friendly. Amenities more than sufficient. Perfect little town. Breakfast also great.

All of the modern rooms at this design hotel have cable TV. Some of the rooms have picturesque views of Engelhorn peaks and the Rosenlaui glacier.

Victoria - Alpine Boutique Hotel & Fine Diningis a 5-minute walk from the Sherlock Holmes Museum. The Reichenbach Falls are a 10-minute drive from the hotel. The city of Bern is just over an hour away by car. Everything was fantastic, especially the food in the restaurant.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. It offers views over Lake Brienz and the Giessbach Waterfall,an outdoor pool, 2 restaurants, one of which features a summer terrace. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Everything, the place is a dream, we will definitely come back in December!

Built in 1881, the family-run Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, and offers you completely renovated rooms in a traditional Alpine style and free WiFi. The rooms are immaculately clean, the staff is helpful and polite and the breakfast buffet has so many great choices. I highly recommend the half board option. For 20 euros more you get a gourmet dinner with soup, salad, a choice of two entrees and dessert with a cheese course. The menu for September 30 was a clear soup with vegetable dices and a cheese tart with a small green salad. There were two choices for the entree: grilled sirloin steak with a pepper sauce, gratinated potatoes and tomato clomart, or a Swiss dish with pasta, potato, cream sauce, onion and apple mousse. Dessert was creme brulee and assorted cheeses from the buffet. These were the best dinners of my 2 week trip.
