We stayed one night at the ByWard Blue Inn and really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the ByWard Market, close to restaurants, cafes, and Parliament Hill. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with a small balcony that was a lovely bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. A great choice for a short stay in Ottawa!

Located in downtown Ottawa, within 5 minutes' walk of Parliament Hill. Each guest room includes a flat-screen TV with cable channels and pay-per-view movies. Free WiFi is provided. The impeccable and friendly service of the staff. Our housekeeper on the 5th floor was lovely and helpful all week, as were the front desk and restaurant staff (hurrah for the bartenders who made great lattes with big smiles on each morning!). The lobby plants were stunning as well, and the beds more comfortable than mine at home.

It's really close to the city center and all the attractions and sights. There are lots of restaurants, take aways and pubs nearby (the location itself is located in a quiet street). You also have a huge supermarket and a rexall there. I didn't use the gym and pool.
