The room was very comfortable with stunning mountain view. The cleanliness was spot on. The breakfast was quite good and it was arranged in the living room, from where one can see the Hallstatt lake and surrounding mountains. Coffee, tea, hot water, some drinks were always available in living room. The bedroom and the living room were very nicely decorated and give you the warmth of home. Mark and Jane both are really exceptional hosts and they can suggest you a lot of things. We arrived quite late to Obertraun and had some food (already cold). Mark took the initiative to warm that in his personal kitchen. Also, on the very last day, we left our luggage for a few hours before coming back to pick them. I would love to come back again to this place.

It offers free wired internet access in the rooms and free WiFi in all areas. The breakfast and the service were very good. I like the view and the city. When we arrived in the place, there was a concert right next to the hotel and the hotel offered us to have dinner as well as entrance to the concert.

Renovated in 2015, this hotel in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut region offers panoramic views of the scenic lake and the Dachstein Massif. It features a garden with a pool and offers free WiFi access. We stayed in the lake view room on the second floor. The room is modern and comfortable. I was surprised that it is bigger than in the picture. The view from the room is spectacular, and is the highlight of our Hallstatt trip.
