The location was within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Breakfast on the beautiful patio was the perfect way to start our day. If we are ever back that direction this would be our stop for sure.

A 5-minute drive from Harwood Museum of Art and Kit Carson Park, El Monte Sagrado Resort & Spa offers an on-site spa and 2 restaurants. An indoor pool and fitness centre are available.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel. Reminiscent of old style wild west saloon and hotel, but with all modern conveniences. Surprisingly comfortable. Room and ensuite were small but had everything we needed. Restaurant food and service were excellent. Folk music in the evening was most enjoyable and stopped at 9pm. no noise at all from bar or restaurant after 10pm, very quiet. Hotel gave us excellent recommendation for breakfast at Farmhouse Cafe, a few miles out of town.
