The hotel is absolutely stunning, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect in the Medina, though there will be a bit of a walk to get there since cars can't get near the hotel. Despite this, we absolutely loved our stay at this hotel and highly recommend it!

Dar Roumana was the first riad we stayed at during our 2-week girls trip around Morocco, and it definitely raised the bar high! It's very beautifully restored, especially the courtyard where we had our afternoon tea and daily delicious breakfast spread accompanied by Eddy the resident tortoise! Location was also perfect, close enough to the main streets of the old medina but quiet enough that it was felt like a relief to return to away from the hustle. We also decided on a whim on one of the nights to have dinner at the restaurant, no regrets! They were flexible with our dining preferences and we were pleasantly surprised by the flavours and plating. My friend said it was better than the meals she had during her few days in Paris before arriving in Morocco. Finally, not forgetting the best managing staff -- shout out to Nezha, Rachid and Mohamed for their attention to detail and incomparable hospitality! A highly recommended stay (:

We had an amazing experience at Riad Anata! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and attention that we immediately felt at home. The entire team is exceptional, always ready to assist with anything we needed, including organizing our activities in Fez. One of the highlights of our stay was, without a doubt, the Moroccan cooking class with Chef Samira. She guided us with so much patience and joy, sharing the secrets and traditions of Moroccan cuisine in such an engaging and unforgettable way. We spent 2 nights in Fes in Riad Mabrouka. This is magnificent building which was built more than 1000 years ago. Great location - away from noisy streets, but still near all historical places, best restaurants and cafes. Great terrace, delicious breakfast and super helpful staff. Room was super clean, Riad itself was like a museum and time travelling experience. We definitely suggest this place to have great experience.

    Muhammed was incredibly welcoming, he showed us the property, told us about Fes and made us a great breakfast. The riad had a lovely interior design, the breakfast layout was great (you all have breakfast together) and the beds were very xomfortable!
