Apartment is in an excellent state (looked new to us) and has everything you could need. It’s a perfect stay for those visiting Florence by car while wanting to be able to walk to the city center (about 25 min to the cathedral on foot). Private (non-local) cars are not allowed in the historical center anyway so this was fine for us (ie park the car and explore on foot).

Everything was excellent, but it was a little bit hard to find the entrance doors and we didn’t get an instruction for check-in before. When you use google maps or other navigation system and write there the address, it leads you to the cafe at the other side of the building.

We had the most amazing accommodation experience at Hotel David! The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The hotel offers thoughtful perks like free snacks and drinks every day, and their complimentary happy hour, including prosecco, beer, and wine, was an absolute delight. The beautiful garden was a charming place to relax, adding to the overall peaceful vibe. Every detail of our stay was impeccable. If you're visiting Florence, I cannot recommend Hotel David enough—it was truly one of the best stays we've ever had! While it’s not right in the city center, it’s definitely worth the 15-minute walk, and there’s a convenient bus if you prefer not to walk. Highly recommend!
