The architecture was beautiful and there were little touches that added to the cacao theme, such as the decor and soaps. The staff was friendly and professional. There were a variety of options for a delicious breakfast, and it was served on a beautiful rooftop. The bathtub in the bathroom was an especially nice treat. Thank you!

The property was beautiful, relaxing and welcoming. The staff were always prompt to help and services were excellent. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and having been to some of the best restaurants around the world, Meson Panza Verde was wonderful, one of the best meals we had; the quality, flavor and presentation of food was top notch.

Camino Real Antigua is located in Antigua Guatemala, about 30 minutes’ drive from Guatemala City. The hotel has an oversized hot tub and a gym.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The property is gorgeous and just walking around the fragrant gardens was a joy in itself. We stayed in a very large room, with a nice shower (good temperature and pressure) and a wonderful bed. Breakfast is amazing as well, with a lot of choices. We didn’t have dinner at the property but we did have drinks on the roof, which is recommended! The jacuzzi looked inviting and the whole property, including the room, was very quiet. The main highlight was the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely come back if we ever return to Antigua.
