Harare is a fantastic city to visit and stay. Generally people are very friendly and helpful. On the other hand traffic can be a nightmare driving through the CBD. Be mindful of kombi driver who can be a menace. The CBD is a very busy place with traders and vendors. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the N1 Hotel Samora Machel in Harare for a day, and I must say it was a delightful experience. They greeted me warmly and were attentive to my needs throughout my stay, exemplifying excellent customer service. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, which added to the overall comfort and ambiance of my visit. It’s clear that maintaining a hygienic environment is a top priority for the management. One of the hotel’s major advantages is its prime location. Just a short walk away is a bustling food court with various dining options, including a Nando's right around the corner, perfect for grabbing a quick bite after a long day. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to the city center allows for easy access to many interesting places worth visiting, making it an ideal base for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, my stay at N1 Hotel Samora Machel was a positive one. If in Harare, stay put of the Central business District. If you must go there, try and do so before 10 am. It is easy to navigate Harare by taxi .
