What a lovely little village that despite its growth, remains peaceful, safe and quaint. You feel like you in Greece. Safe enough to walk around on your own. The village has several outstanding restaurants that are well worth going to, 'Gaaitjie' was amazing! The only small West Coast town situated on the beach that we found had everything we needed to be comfortable and never had to eat at the same restaurant twice because we had to, but the variety of restaurants was awesome. It was my first time in Paternoster.
It was my first time in Paternoster. The beach and all facilities are clean. patrol vehicles are visible all over. Accommodation was spaces enough parking for both our vehicles. The kitchen has all the utensils you need for your stay from dishwasher to washing machine.Guest review byBonita - 10
We love Paternoster - the quiet of it, the isolation of it...
We love Paternoster - the quiet of it, the isolation of it and the beauty of it. It is still a very sleepy little beach town and that is what we wanted. There are several wonderful places to explore nearby and within the town itself, some incredible restaurants and experiences. Don't miss the Waterfront, Gaaitjie and Voorstrandt. If you have the time, go into West Coast National Park for a day trip. It is well worth it and close enough through the Langebaan entrance.Guest review byCarolineSouth Africa

Parking is easy on the front drive. The room was comfortable and well equipped (fridge, hair dryer, wifi etc. all worked). It is a good base for the local area, which is what we wanted. If you want local crayfish then there are restaurants in an area at the very far end of the beach (at Paternoster Waterfront). The staff were attentive and warm from the time we walked into the reception. We had dinner at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Breakfast was included and was just as delicious. The rooms were super spacious and great quality. The sun shines through into the restaurant so beautifully in the morning. Fantastic self catering facilities, everything that you would need and good quality and fully functional.
