Addo was lovely, and the map was easy to navigate.
Addo was lovely, and the map was easy to navigate. I could easily do two days in the Addo and it's full of surprises. Make sure to go to the bathroom at the beginning, because toiletbreaks are far inbetween. Make sure your devices are fully charged and you have backup, because you'll be taking a lot of pics. The elephant walk and game drive were fantastic.
The elephant walk and game drive were fantastic. We did this alongside a self drive of Addo Elephant park on the way to the lodge which i'd definitely recommend because it is a bit of drive. The property is in a wonderful location and the rooms are great. We had dinner here on both nights of our stay and were impressed with the quality - and how the staff coped with a failure of the local electricity supply. We would choose to stay here again on a future visit to Addo Elephant Park, which is a 10-minute drive up the road. We stayed in a dome in the garden, which was a bit quirky but comfortable. The restaurant and food were excellent with a good choice for breakfast and evening meal. We had some chilled days there and it's the perfect location for going to Addo Elephant Park or going on a drive/night drive on the Addo Wildlife Reserve. Your fireplace is the best.
