Apia is a beautiful place to visit.
Apia is a beautiful place to visit. You should be prepared with an itinerary if travelling solo or as a couple, or family with small kids. Although alot of those of Samoan heritage would spend a bit of time with family. We spent a little time with family, and managed to visit my grandma's headstone and do up her floral arrangement and solar lights. The temperature I know alot of people would love. Even when I’m here for work, it still feels like a getaway – the pace of life is relaxed, the people are incredibly friendly, and the natural beauty all around makes every day feel special. There’s a great balance between local culture, good food, and spots to unwind. There is so much more to Samoa to see than just Apia. There are many beautiful resorts on the southern side of the island and many great snorkelling spots. 2 restaurants we enjoyed in Apia with Paddles and Giodarno's. That was the only downside but we lived around it. Really recommend Samoana, great location, clean and spacious and very friendly and helpful staff. Bonus is the pool and kitchen.
