    I have visited Wilmington for the past 34 years.

    I have visited Wilmington for the past 34 years. I am a life long resident on North Carolina and stumbled on Wilmington completely by accident while attending a conference in 1991 in Castle Hayne, I love riverfront cities like Charleston, Savannah, Mobile or even New Orleans for find the convenience of location to the beach and other amenities to be wonderful. I go there from Charlotte NC about3-4 times each year for 3 or 4 day getaways, and can never get enough.

    I'm a seafood lover, making it a desirable place to visit. The Boardwalk gave access to restaurants, all kinds of shops, and tours. They had friendly greeters who gave informative tips. Parking at a garage is recommended.

    Amazing sleepy little town that's growing up right before our eyes. Plenty to do all over the place.Colleges, rivers, nightlife ,beaches awesome amazing place! Well priced for everything you get to do.

    The Wilmington area is a wonderful place to visit.

    The Wilmington area is a wonderful place to visit. There is so much to see. The riverwalk is a great place to visit. There is so much history here. Wilmington is close to some of the nicest beaches on the east coast. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying a visit. I recommend Elijah's on the waterfront and Casey's Buffet (the building is old, but the food is exceptional).

    The downtown is nice with many bars, restaurants and live music. The weather is hot and humid but Wrightsville Beach, about 20 minutes away, is very nice. There are awesome places right on the water (I recommend Dockside, for one) to eat delicious food and watch the boats go by also.

    The towels and bed linens had dark stains, especially the washcloths. The room needs a little remodeling. The receptionist was very pleasant and polite, the location and parking were nice, and it seems like a safe place.

    The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. I even saw the breakfast attendant washing the walls! The breakfast itself put many restaurants to shame and I am a chef, so I would know! Lol There seems to be strong leadership in place, which results in great attention-to-detail in all the staff. Front desk was kind and attentive to my needs. Also, I lost my cpap machine while at the hotel, but they found it and were able to ship it back to my home 3 hours away. So grateful for the housekeeping staff who found it for me.

    Very nice accomodation, clean and well-equiped for all our needs. The communication before arrival was clear and friendly even with late check-in times. The location is decent, not too far by car from UNCW campus and downtown Wilmington. Parking spot is available.

    I was very disappointed. For the price i expected more than a dormitory size room with little to no amenities. The last time I visited Wilmington and stayed on the water the hotel was very nice. I felt crowded.
