Room was clean but shower didn’t drain and started to flood. No accommodations to make things right. I had to take a cold fast shower and didn’t have a good nights sleep because I was freezing. Turned up the room to 76. Just overall not a good experience. I would expect better maintenance on basic functions in a hotel. I fell in love with Sherman Oaks.
I fell in love with Sherman Oaks. This was our first stay as we have family close by living in Encino. There are so many restaurants, shopping and even grocery stores that are walking distance (to where we stayed). It is also a short drive to many hiking trails. Newly refurbished motel. Room was clean and had good linens. The decor was 60s inspired which complimented the era of the drive motel era which it is. I liked the different colored room entry doors because it made it easier to find room and was cheerful look. The location was good access to freeway. I’ve always loved Sherman Oaks.
I’ve always loved Sherman Oaks. It has everything and everything Los Angeles has to offer at a good distance. The Hills are close by, all the freeways and lots of shopping and good eatery. The complimentary parking included was great and looked safe. The front desk has good amenities, coffee brewer, water filter (!), cups and napkins. The business center room was great, I was able to connect for my online work meeting seamlessly.
