I love the downtown area with all the fun shops and restaurants. I've taken the cog railway, been to the Cliff Dwellings and the Castle. The arcade is great with kids and even without. Manitou Springs is a quirky mountain town with a rich history. Great for a long weekend trip. It has a mix of clothing, jewelry, t-shirt shop, and arts and crafts shops. Also, many cafes and restaurants. Plus, its next to numerous natural wonders like Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak. Manitou Springs is a wonderful community, with so many activities that we could have stayed a week. There's ancient history (Manitou Cliff House) natural beauty (mere steps from Garden of the Gods) and much more. We chose to visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Will Roger's Shrine. The view from the top of the shrine is, literally, breathtaking. The next visit, we hope to get to Seven Falls and perhaps Cave of the Winds, there are so many attractions within a 15-45 minute drive that you'll need the full week to catch them all.Guest review byChrisUnited States

Perfect location, close to everything in Manitou; also very handy to Colorado Springs (we ate dinner there). Nice indoor pool area with a hot tub, complimentary towels and clean restrooms.
