Well sized and appointed room. Extremely comfortable bed and heating worked perfectly. Everything is clean, and it is clear that the staff and management care about this hotel - investing a superior attitude and attention towards ensuring guests have an extremely comfortable stay - I didnt want to leave!! Do not confuse this hotel with the 'Herkimer Budget Hotel' - after driving past that hotel, I am thankful I did not stay there. Red Roof Inn is located in the carpark adjacent to 'Dennys' - make sure you book at 'Red Roof inn - Herkimer'

We stayed here as a stop over on our journey from Stratford Ontario to Stowe. It suited us really well. The staff were particularly helpful to us when trying to sort out an issue we had with our phone sim. We would have loved to have had time to explore the area as it looked a lovely place.

No breakfast offered, so that was a bit of a bummer, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the water hot, and the desk clerk friendly. I also learned about the bike trail that is so close - I have a new item on my bucket list.
