The hotel is situated a bit away of the main Street.
The hotel is situated a bit away of the main Street. On the main street are all the shopping and food areas you could think of. A hospital is close by the hotel. It seems it's an up and coming area, lots of building is going on. If you are looking for the ocean it's about an hour drive. Super fun and you can make a day trip out of it!!

We spent most of our time between the hotel and the local community center during this trip, as we were in the area for a event with our daughters
We did spend time visiting a few shops and local restaurants. Every area we visited was nice and the people in the area were all friendly.
Ruffly a hour from the nearest beach access but very easy to find and get to.

The rooms were clean and spacious.
The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very courteous and efficient. The only detrimental thing that I could say is that the breakfast was so popular with guests that the staff was very hard pressed to keep enough food ready for the guests who wanted to eat.

The location is close to the military bases, yet not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Ft Walton Beach. It was a little hard to access the hotel due to heavy traffic on the highway, a traffic light would have been helpful. Lots of eating establishments within short driving distances. In-house breakfast was good.

I loved the location.
I loved the location. I dislike the fact wearing mask and social distancing was not enforced. I dislike the fact the facility ran out of towels and food. I dislike the fact that my room was dirty upon check-in so I vacuum, cleaned, and change the sheets myself.

Location was excellent. The hotel is a superb stay for short or long stays. Our room was huge and quiet, with a super comfy bed, pillows, and bedding. Staff are excellent. We didn't stay for breakfast, but based on what we saw, it looked very good. Hotel is close to several restaurants, so you don't have to go far to find places. Quick on and off highway. There was construction on the road by hotel, but it wasn't too bad.

The breakfast was unexpectedly okay, considering the hotel price, the room was spacious, very clean and the bed really comfortable.

It wasn’t breakfast. This was the only disappointing aspect of this hotel. The offerings were one waffle machine, little bread for toasting and cereal (two choices). Sad!
