One of the Best Hotels in Zanzibar! We had an amazing stay at this hotel for over a month, and it was truly one of the best in terms of quality service. The staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to help, making our experience even more enjoyable. The surroundings were breathtaking, and the room facilities, along with the cleanliness, exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar and wish them continued success!

This hotel is a paradise on earth - both hotel and sea are beautiful. The pool is deep and refreshing, the food is amazing in the restaurant - I would recommend Prawn Curry. :) Hotel management is very helpful and helped us with transfers and other questions. Kudos to Anna - she made us feel welcome and pampered. Pingwe beach is gem - it is beautiful both high and low tide - and you can swim here also in low tide - just walk to white sand lagoons and enjoy crystal clear sand. When I would return to Zanzibar - this hotel would be the place to return.

I had the most incredible stay at this hidden gem in Zanzibar! This beautiful hacienda style hotel is truly enchanting, with charming design details that are rarely found nowadays. The service was impeccable, on par with the finest luxury resorts but with a personalized and discreet touch that only a family-sized business can offer. Real luxury to me. The staff’s constant smiles and joyful dances to enchanting songs made the atmosphere magical. All the amenities were perfect, making me feel completely at ease. The food was absolutely delicious, every meal a delight! Plus, it’s just a short trip to the iconic ‘The Rock’ restaurant which is a must-visit! Special thanks to Michael and Adolf for making my stay beyond perfect. A true slice of paradise!”

Exceptional place to stay. The facilities - swimming pool, bar and restaurant were all first class. Food was delicious. Best of all was the wonderful welcome and hospitality shown by the fantastic owners Petra and Thomas. Amazing stay in a beautiful Bungalow-Lodge very quiet area, so friendly staff, they served our breakfast directly on the veranda of our Bungalow beautifully decorated room with so much love for detail the Hostel is a little bit outside in a very small village, but very quiet and nice area and 5mins walk to the beach

    Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable. Greetings Paula& Johannes from The Netherlands . We are looking forward to come back again .

    the welcoming commetee was amazing. They made us feel at home. Checking in was a breeze and the pool bar staff was so helpful and friendly. I loved the music by the pool area,it was inclusive to all nations. Tha food was amazing the whole experience was great. I was there to celebrate my birthday and they made it extra special. From the decoration in my room,to the suprise cake and singing.i had a good time. The rock resturant is less than 5min away, we wemt there using the free bicycle offered at the hotel.

    Enjoyed having lunch at the Rock and also liked the lunch at Kea restaurant.It is simple getting around Michamvi and don't even have to ask your way around.We enjoyed snorkling and going to the star fish spot

    This is the perfect hotel for anyone looking for a quiet beach get away. The staff was amazing, the location is beautiful, right on the beach! The rooms are very spacious with great views, accurate to the pictures on there website. The food is good, the pool is great and they have a very affordable spa. The beach in front is a beautiful white sand beach with a insane view of the sunset! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Zanzibar!

    by walking distance you could reach Kae Funk, which is lovely place, with party, and amazing sunset view. Is right place for whom are interested for The Rock, by taxi it takes aprox. 25 min, the same to Paje beach. Michamwi is calm and full of nature. Unfortunately the ocean is full of seeweeds and is not pleasant to swim here.

    It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful...

    It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful blue ocean as far as the eye can see. It's also quiet and very tranquil. We enjoyed a nice long walk on the beach with little to no interruptions from beach boys of sellers.

    I needed a break in a quiet, secluded place, and Afya Village was exactly what I was looking for. It's in the northernmost part of Michamvi, in a cove of its own that almost disappears during high tide, and it is far enough from the noise of the main Michamvi beach or other locations in Zanzibar. The room was well-equipped and spacious enough, and the bed was comfy. The breakfast is superb, and all the food I had was delicious, well prepared. Last but not least, all staff was nice and helpful, easy-going.

    We had an exceptional experience. Everything was truly excellent, from the bungalow, cleanliness, pool, breakfast and restaurant to the staff. Peace and quiet for relaxation. Beach right below the accommodation, both for swimming and walking. Kindness and help from Anna and Mohamed in organizing island exploration and activities. We recommend a visit.     Very nice laid back little hotel near the famous Kae Beach (just a short walk to Kae) - the rooms are big and clean, there is a swimming pool and a restaurant where you can have breakfast or eat a la carte. All the girls working at the hotel are lovely, and will help you with anything you need - I would like to especially thank Sara for making my holidays so much better.
