Our time at Airport Planet Lodge was an excellent stay and a great value! We were there for 1 night as we awaited our flight to the Serengeti, but would have liked to stay longer! We visited during a low season so we pretty much had the service of the full staff to ourselves, which was such a bonus. The location was perfect- very close to Kilimanjaro Airport. The lodge had a complimentary airport shuttle so that made our transfer very easy. Our adjoining rooms (we were 2 adults and 2 children) were quite spacious and clean. The AC was refreshing and the hot shower was relaxing. The beds were also comfortable. We took our dinner in our room (exhausted from our flight!), and we happily fell asleep with full bellies. We were treated to a delicious breakfast buffet, which had both local and Western options. Highly recommend this lodge if you need a place to stay in Kilimanjaro.

Wonderful place!! Beautiful buildings and sourindings. Nice staff and very good food in the restaurant, we loved our stay!

Lovely room with bathroom. I had the breakfast included which was plenty and great. I decided to have dinner at the property and that was also excellent starter, main and pudding. I played a round of golf whilst staying and they shuttled me to and from the course (only a few mins) and I was able to see Mt Kilimanjaro peak. Beautiful grounds, worth the visit even if you don’t want to play a round. Staff very welcoming and going above and beyond.

Very close to the airport perfect for an early flight in the morning. Accommodation felt very private even though there were many other huts around you. Breakfast in the morning was great with attentive and kind staff.

Really good spot for airport transfer. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was massive. If you’ve come down from Kili and looking for a cheap and cheerful place to crash before heading home, this is good.

We had a beautiful stay here before and after our safari. The staff are wonderful, welcoming and go above and beyond. The dinner and breakfast was awesome. The location is perfect if you are coming from or going to Mount Kilimanjaro airport. We arrived late at night and had an early morning flight departure and so glad we stayed here to avoid the traffic in Arusha centre and didn’t have to commute as far. Highly recommend
