When booking my trip, I almost missed out on this gem because it wasn't listed on Expedia's website. I am so thankful I found out about Carolina Point Resort. It was the perfect getaway place to call home for a few days on our visit to Tobago. I stayed in apartment 6 and it was more spacious than I was expecting. It had a very functional kitchen space with an oven/stove, fridge and lots of kitchen wares to use. The bed was so comfy, and the linens were all so clean. I value cleanliness and this room did not disappoint. Showers, sinks and towels were all well maintained. I especially loved the balcony that led to the terrace area. You definitely had privacy and felt safe staying here. The best part about this apartment styled hotel is the easy walking access to the beaches and stores. It would take about 10-15 minutes to walk to the airport, 5 minutes to Swallow's Beach, maybe 7 minutes to Store Boy and 5 minutes to the main strip. It's close enough to the action of the town but still tucked away that you are not disturbed at night by party/road noise. The owner is so pleasant and reinforced how safe you will be staying there. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting Tobago.

Very helpful nice owner. Early check-in is possible. Good air condition. Nearby there is a gas station with a large grocery store. 20 minutes walk from the airport and 10 minutes walk to the beach.

    The place was clean and had a pool ,not to far from the airport the host was helpful but you definitely need a car. It should have hooks over the bathroom door and outside area to hang your bathing suits and towels to dry the host took us to the airport that was nice 👍🏽

    It’s great, close to everything you could possibly want, beaches, reef tours, banks, the airport, Ice cream shops, food and drink spots (authentic creole, Italian (the pasta gallery), Chinese and a few fast food outlets etc.)

    Again COVID played a significant factor.

    Again COVID played a significant factor. I only found one decent restaurant, but there were many closed and you wondered whether they would ever reopen. But I guess the local people are resolute enough to keep hoping for better things in these these times of uncertainty. I would imagine under normal circumstances Crown Point to be a bustling tourist hot spot and with the airport being within twenty minutes of the centre of the resort, you couldn't wish for a better place to start your holiday in the sun.

    We arrived very early on the first day and our room was still occupied, plus it was raining. The owner took us around in his car and showed us places near Crown Point that we had never been to before! He is definitely a wealth of information. The apartment was very clean and modern and the staff friendly and efficient . The garden is spectacular.

    The location is good, and it's easy to walk to Crown Point and the beaches around there. It's comfortable, clean, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. It's honestly my favourite place to stay any time I'm in Tobago.
