An absolute gem! So much to see right on the property – located directly on the Danube riverbank. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pool was perfect for the summer heat, and we even got to do some fishing right next to our bungalow. Definitely worth the money, and we’d happily return if we’re ever in the area again!

A very good option to stay. It is close to Lidl, the mai square and the property itself is very clean, cozy, spacious and it has a great air conditioner, bath and beds. The most pleasent thing was the terrace, as we were sitting their bery comfortable even when it was raining and also a great hospitability from the landlord. They ask tou if tou need something, if everything is working and also give some coffee in fhe morning and exolain the attractions in Orsova! Higly recommend!

    The only thing to be seen in this city is the lake, and a boat trip on the Danube. There is nothing else to do in the city, no activities, no bars, many restaurants were closed, the buildings are old and not renovated with a great lack of facilities. The view of the city is sad.

    Great view of the Danube.

    Great view of the Danube. Endless possibilities of boat tours on the lake with lot to see. Beautiful park in the town center. Beautiful monasteries near by (St. Anna and Vodite). Short ride away from Drobeta Turnu Severin on one side and Baile Herculane on the other with a lot more amazing places to see. Just a perfect place for rest from the city rowd.

    It is a nice city along the Danube, excellent starting point for boat trips. The city is nice and quiet, and all good things are near the center. Great to the take long evening walks on the promenade, but prepare for it with some mosquito repellent.

    Orsova itself doesn't provide touristic attractions but there are some interesting places to visit in the area like Cazanele Dunarii, hiking trips in the nearby mountains and Portile de Fier hydropower plant museum.

    The city is very well placed around Danube River, mountains and 30 km away from thermal baths in Herculane. You can enjoy the city in all seasons. Can get a walk around the Danube or klimb the hills around. Can get on top of the hill/mountain and have a spectacular view of the Danube both on Romanian and Serbian sides. It is close to go to thermal baths in Herculane, just 3 kms away. It is great for water sports or just enjoying a boat/ship cruise along the Danube. Can also serve fresh fish in the local restaurants.

    The hotel is nice but a bit run down. The front desk lady was very pushy regarding the fact that we better take the Danube cruise only from her, and it became quite irritating. The room is basic but it had all the necessities except a place to put and open the luggage. However, we felt the price was a bit steep for what you get in return.

    The property was beautiful, exceptionally clean and well equipped. The property is perfect for a family holiday or for two couples. The inside is spacious and you also have the benefit of a lovely outdoor seating area and barbeque. It is situated on a peaceful street about 1 km from the centre of Orsova.
