The house of Homeed is a great spot where one can unwind and relax in the silence of the beautiful Jebel Shams and enjoy the wonders of the sky from a marvellous sunset to the night sky full of stars. The rooms are comfortable elegant and clean. Homeed and his family are great hosts and under request they offer a delicious barbecue cooked on bonfire. Homeed also offers beautiful guided excursions; the top of Jebel Shams and the view of the canyon, walk along the the Balcony Walk and my personal favorite: the morning crossing down Wadi Ghul on order to arrive to Wadi Nakhr and bathe in the crystal clear waters of Wadi Nakhr Cave also named the Teapot. If you decide to stay at Jebel Shams Hills you won’t regret it you’ll merely enjoy a warm welcome into this beautiful region.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this accommodation during my trip to Oman. The sunset views from the property were absolutely breathtaking, making each evening unforgettable. The room was spacious, and the entire place was impeccably clean and well-maintained. What really made our stay special, though, was the kindness and hospitality of the host. Not only was the host incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, but they also went out of their way to return a personal item we had accidentally left behind—delivering it to us even though we were far away. This was my first time visiting Oman, and thanks to the host, I was able to see just how warm, kind, and generous Omani people can be. I’m deeply grateful for the experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

If you want authentic/traditional experience, this is the place to go- house has everything you need, rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped, there is big terrace and enormous backyard (our kids loved it!). Owner is really super friendly, helpful and available whenever you need him- he also offers guidance to some natural attractions. You can decide for dinner, which is absolutely delicious (traditional flavours, really tasty) and reasonable priced, he brings it to the house- we ordered it every day and was really good! House is situated in a calm place, the views all around are amazing, house is easily reachable, you can park the car in the property, there is cca 30min drive to balcony walk. We really recommend it!

Very good location, very close to "Jabal Al Shams" 5-10 minutes far from the top of Jabal Al Shams. Safe place for family. Surrounded with mountains from all side. Owner was very kind and supportive. We like the place.

Excellent location, host was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. Comfortable, clean, and close to all the best hikes and sites in the area. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay in Jabal Shams.

The resort was perfect for the two night stay in the mountains. It is a perfectly well located hotel to reach out the two main hikes in the region: Balcony walk (W6) and Jabal Shams summit walk (W4). Accessible with a normal car, but you have to be a confident driver and drive slow. Breakfast and dinner were very decent given we were only a few guests staying in the hotel. Thanks to that we enjoyed a free upgrade. Views from the hotel over the mountains were spectacular, especially during sunrise/sunset.

    Private place, no interference, If you or your Kids are domestic animal lover, Don't forget to carry animal feed, you will find goats and sheep around. Being pleasant weather you can find some mosquitoes outdoor, please carry mosquitoes repellent cream. All the windows are having insect protection with net, you will not find mosquito inside the room. You will not find grocessary store near by, don't forget to carry required stuff at least from the last know location at Al Hamra filling station.
