    It was very poor accommodation.

    It was very poor accommodation. Not clean before we got there room was very smelly n musky dirty smell. Lots missing from room. Utensils, TV remote, pots, toaster, iron. We couldn’t book anywhere else all booked out a big festival was on in the area. Emergency housing was in the Lodge they were disgustingly dirty (bogens) Dogs inside their hotel room. Their rooms were disgustingly yuk. Not a good experience I would not recommend anyone to stay there. Very poor. Bad Experience.

    We visited the new swing bridge just out of Stratford, takes...

    We visited the new swing bridge just out of Stratford, takes about a half hour walk to get to it but well worth it. Walked to the township for a meal which was good as the weather was superb. We dined at Malones for dinner which was really nice. On the Sunday we had a great coffee and cake at a little gallery just off the main street which was a hidden gem.

    This was a great stay the bull on the farm was my highlight.

    This was a great stay the bull on the farm was my highlight. He beautiful. The own was great to del with. I would definitely recommend this place. Location was close to everything a less than a 10 min drive to shopes and places to eat. The place was well equipped.

    Love the river walks and so many outdoors activities handy.

    Love the river walks and so many outdoors activities handy. Enjoy the 3 bridges walkway. Not a young couple but do visit Stratford fom time to time. Cheese factory at Eltham and trips up the mountain.

    I was born in Stratford . .

    I was born in Stratford . . It was quite warm with a little rain .. It's not a City so much quieter than say New Plymouth . Tho has quite a Volume of Traffic through the Main street . . Has good pedestrian crossing in the Middle of town . . Plenty of food places and shops a Farming town too . I bought a Lamb Roast dinner from Broadway fast foods . They have Buffet with plenty of variety to choose from

    I stayed at Broadway lodge over the Easter weekend and would highly recommend this place. There is an old New Zealand aesthetic to Stratford which makes the atmosphere really enjoyable. The apartment was clean, staff were respectful, facilities were well equipped (tv, cleaning liquid, towels), close to local shops in Stratford and the Egmont National park. Everything was available to make my stay enjoyable, and having a base to adventure in Taranaki was fantastic.

    Location is great. I can see the Taranaki Mount. from the hotel and just beside Countdown! It's pretty near from the egmont visitor center (around 30 minutes driving). The parking lot is wide. I really love that the hotel provided me with several type rubbish bin inside the room so that I could sort my trash into the right bin. The receptionist is very kind, friendly, and understanding.

    The location was perfect for me as the purpose of my trip was to spend time with my son who lives in Stratford. He lives on the same street as the accommodation! The property is of a very high quality which is matched by the customer-centric focus of the owner Terna. She is so welcoming and makes you feel as though you are in your own home. I had several enjoyable chats with her.

    Perfect little hideaway on the edge of Stratford. An ideal base for exploring the area and Mou t Taranaki. Beautifully laid out and equipped property with every conceivable facility and so thoughtfully put together. We would happily live there ☺️

    Handy location for being in Stratford to climb the volcano. Motel had everything we needed for our stay. We were in one of the non refurbished rooms but it was fine. Comfy bed, good tv and nice hot shower. Cot provided for our baby too!
