Everything. Beautiful quaint charm, lovely designed lodge, peaceful location, incredible service and hospitality. The onsite chef is devine and the nicest person. The spa massage was one of the best I’ve had. The owner shared about his culture, family, special meaning of the property and even tribal wine. All in all if I could give this property a 20 out of 10 I would!

This was the perfect base for my quiet solo weekend. The house is brand new and feels warm, modern, and calm. The super king bed was next-level comfy, and I appreciated the organic tea and lovely bathroom products. Views of the forest and mountain made it easy to unwind. It’s an easy walk to Raglan’s cafés and beach plus a nice long bush walk along the estuary. I will definitely come back!

We loved this place. It’s idyllic from h to e peaceful beautiful setting to the outdoor space and the lovely Adele who can’t do enough for you. All of the treats,the comfy bed and the jewel in the crown the hot tub which is the best hot tub ever. So worth it - it’s one of the best accomodation and host I have ever stayed in. We will definitely be back. Loved it!!! Thanks Adele. Take care

We loved our stay here. It’s a cute cozy wee bach-vibe Lockwood with a fantastic view and was exactly what we expected as per the listing. Very clean too. And Jamie the host was super responsive and great to deal with.

    Sweet smaller NZ town, worth a quick visit but longer if youre a beach babe/dude, had a good dinner in the Harbour View Hotel, and our accomodation at Long St Studio was clean, warm & reasonbly priced.

    Always great hospo, terrific cafes and spoilt for choice. And a great selection of arts, crafts, interesting stuff in general, with friendly helpful people. Even when it was definitely not beach weather we had a lovely time. A shame there were no taxis or Uber available throughout our visit.

    Ocean beach Retreat was amazing.

    Ocean beach Retreat was amazing. Incredible expansive seaview. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful furnishings throughout. The spa pool an extra bonus. Fantastic location, just across the road from the beach. We loved our stay.

    Raglan is a charming little town with a laid-back vibe and super friendly locals. The ocean views are stunning, and the whole place has a creative, authentic energy. Perfect for anyone looking to enjoy nature, surf, and good vibes. I felt right at home and would definitely come back.

    Raglan has a very chill vibe…super relaxed and the locals are helpful and friendly. Some great places to eat, with something for everyone and every budget… TeToro gorge is a must visit unless you suffer from vertigo! The views are stunning, and it’s only a short drive south of Raglan, albeit partly gravel road.

    Great that there is the Wharf Cafe just across the road, we went numerous times, Fish & Chips @ the Wharf was best ever, Sunset cruise was Fab and Barlow (Captain) was awesome. Bridal Veil Falls was a lovely little bushwalk to a great scene.

    The apartments Waterfront are spacious and beautifully maintained. The manager is very nice and happy to help. However, you should know that the place as such really does not have much to offer if you do not belong to the alternative community. The price is okay, but not entirely justified. In summary: for Raglan it is certainly one of the better accommodations.

    Whare Tatū is an excellent option when staying in Raglan. We lived the architecture, the openness, the nice design choices and the attention given to details. The proximity of the beach and the secluded location whilst still being 5’ away by car from the center was perfect !
