What a wonderful setup. Perfectly located in a beautiful little town. The property was neat, well set up with gorgeous modern finishing. The only regret is just passing through rather than staying longer. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

This property was absolutely perfect! The host was incredibly responsive and attentive, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. The location was ideal—right on the waterfront, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The home itself had a warm and cosy vibe, spotless cleanliness, and thoughtful touches that made it feel so welcoming. Everything we could possibly need was provided, including a delightful surprise of free cider! The amenities were fantastic, and it was clear every detail had been carefully considered. We truly loved everything about this property and would highly recommend it for a relaxing family getaway!

This is an exceptionally comfortable, well-equipped property in a quiet and private residential area. Jules, the owner could not have been more helpful and welcomed us by helping us with our luggage on arrival. The private garden was a joy and to be able to sit there and listen to the Tui's birdsong over a glass of wine was an absolute delight. This is a five star property and we would unhesitatingly stay there again given the opportunity.

An excellent location next to the food shops and town. Just up from the wharf. Lovely sunrise lying in the bed in the morning. Only improvement could be a larger TV for the size of the lounge.

Beautiful property and what a stunning location, absolute gem and will return very soon as me and my partner loved everything about it. Clean, had everything you need and the views…. Wow ! Best of all were the hosts Vicki and Clint…. Salt of the earth people who went way above and beyond with us, they made our stay that little bit better than anywhere I’ve stayed. Friendly, welcoming and we even shared a drink together whilst chatting all things life. I’d urge anyone wanting a get away in Matakana and surrounding areas to book this place. Also they have the best little bunch of pugs and a stunning boxer that were so friendly and lovable

    Beautiful natural spot. Secure parking. Very clean.

    Beautiful natural spot. Secure parking. Very clean. Super friendly staff. Gravel road to get too. Amazing sunsets and bird life. Go during the week for a quiet time. Highly priced cabins, but surrounding area is pretty highly priced too. You need your own transport to get there.
