Fantastic accommodation. This is a five star apartment....the shower is spacious and powerful- a most important feature! The bed extremely comfy with beautiful linen. Well fitted out to make your stay very comfortable and Luisa has added a few little luxuries to make it an extra special place. The apartment is a couple of minutes walk from the wharf where you will find great shops, bars and restaurants. And we can definitely recommend the bike hire shop on the wharf ( think it's called kiwi journeys)...very helpful. We took the ferry across to rabbit island and cycled the great taste trail to Richmond. A very pleasant day out. Thank you Luisa. We hope to return.

Fantastic Hosts, Roisin, and Stu made sure I felt very welcome. Great communication on access, facilities, breakfast, parking, places to eat, gigs, and places to visit. The location was perfect.     We enjoyed the local restaurants .The fish and chips at the smoke house were delicious,as was the smoked snapper we took back to our lovely accomodation.The meal and customer service we experienced at Mapua India Eatery was first class.A great spot to base your self,as you are close to many locations

    A great spot away from the hustle of the city.

    A great spot away from the hustle of the city. The apartments are right next to the Wharfside shops and eateries ( highly recommend the fish and chip shop for yummy fresh gurnard meal - much cheaper than the restaurants.) Convenience store not far away. Would definitely come back again.

    Stunningly beautiful! Everyone should visit. Beautiful place. The Apple Shed had friendly staff & food was very fresh and yummy! Alberta’s was the best breakfast ever! Walking & biking is easy around Māpua. People are very friendly in this quaint place.

    Our stay was outside Christmas, New Year and school holidays, so quiet. Had no issues getting meals at Mapua Wharf, plenty to choose from. Great base for Golden Bay and Nelson. Love taking the ferry to Rabbit Island and biking.

    I have stayed in Mapua many times while holidaying in the region. Its a perfect spot if you don't want to be in the more metropolitan Nelson/Richmond areas but still have all the facilities at hand that you want on a holiday - restaurants, cafes, shops, pub, supermarket, petrol etc etc while still only being half an hour away from Nelson etc

    Amazing location, on the estuary with lots of birdlife, changing tides, water activities and so close to the Mapua Village with Arty shops, Wine bar, and several excellent places to eat . Lovely walks around the area , a ferry service to the Island across the water for biking or walking. The apartment catered for 5 adults easily and was well equiped. plenty of outdoor seating areas. We arrived on a very cold day, the heat pump was on and the instructions for entry were very clear on the office window.

    Such a lovely welcome! Made sure we had all we needed, including offering milk. Lovely location. 2 or 3 minutes to Mapua Wharf, slightly longer to the town centre. Very clean, very well laid out. Great heater! We went out for dinner with family, came back to warm unit. Coffee machine and capsules, several options. Range of teas on offer. We felt spoilt.

    Nicky is a welcoming host who has created accommodation with an attention for detail. From the quality of the linen, towels, selection of coffee capsules, homemade breakfast, stylish bathroom, and furniture all set in her incredible garden. She even loaded Sky Sport so we could cast the All Black game. A real haven to stay when in Mapua - highly recommended.
