South KoreaEverything from the location to the quality of the stay, it was by far the best accommodation Ive experienced for a short holiday trip. The fantastic view of the ocean from the large, window entrance brought up the melancholic mood everytime we gazed at it. Laura provided us with the utmost service during our stay with quick responses and understanding of what we requested. The bedding, kitchen equipment and the bathroom was very very clean. I would definitely book again next and recommend 100%

Kaka point is a perfect base for visiting the Catlins if you have a week because then you can make day trips to the many waterfalls, beaches, lighthouses and historical sites without rushing or getting exhausted. Be captivated by the beauty of the landscape and wildlife, while soaking up the quaint, sleepy town feel of Kaka Point. A lovely beach with a cafe/shop/restaurant so ideal for families. Easy to reach nugget point from there. Bear in mind it’s at the eastern end of the Catlins so if you want to explore places further west, eg Curio Bay, you will have quite a drive. Definitely needs a heat pump for the size of the apartment. Bed was comfy enough. The tiles in the bathroom and in front of the kitchenette is very cold!!! Could do with a rug or two. The view is spectacular!! (I mean it's Kaka Point!) Jenny was amazing in organizing everything even though she was in Aussie. They've got a beautiful place for cheap.
