Good location for us on our Norway tour. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was ok as the hotel had just a few guests but the waitress did say that she could cook us something. The restaurant wasn’t open Sunday night but we found a pizzeria up the road. Water pressure and temperature from the shower was excellent and there were some nice. Plenty of free parking.

Cabin by the Fjord is a recently renovated holiday home in Øksendalsøra, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.

Very friendly owner. Contacted her with some questions and requests. All were answered and fulfilled. Delicious dinner and good breakfast, both served at a time we could choose. A very cosy place to stay. Parking in front of the property.

Just perfect for 2 days, but actually it would well deserve a longer stay. The view over the fjord is great and there is a fantastic hike to Hardbakkhytta starting at the front door. There was absolutely nothing not to like!
