    We stayed for one night as a family (two adults and a 4-year-old) and were looking forward to experiencing this historic hotel with its beautiful views over the fjords. The location is truly lovely, and the building has a lot of character. However, we were quite disappointed with the overall upkeep and service, which did not match the expectations for a 4-star hotel.

    We were quite pleased with this hotel. The room has its own bathroom, kitchen available (although it could really be better equipped!), very nice area with view on the Fjord and a garden with some relaxing spots. Beds are comfortable and the hotel is equipped also with a sauna which we used.

    No-frills summer accommodation in a great location overlooking Lofthus appleyards, church and beach. Basic but functional room. Friendly staff. Great garden with cherry trees and fluffy grass. Good breakfast.
