The location is absolutely beautiful. You can sit on the porch and watch boats on the water, a waterfall and bridges. Very quiet and peaceful. The house feels very traditional and homely - it's old and a bit quirky but has everything we needed for a family with two older teenagers. Geir kindly lent us his canoes and we had a fun afternoon splashing around the water which felt very safe, we enjoyed walks in the area and the Atlantic Coast Road. The Stave church and Rural Museum were closed but we still enjoyed walking around them and they would be a great way to spend a day in the summer

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. The view of the fjord was priceless, and we loved spending time just taking in the incredible scenery. The house was spotlessly clean and the barbecue amazing, the tv is very fancy.
