The view of the lake was stunning. Perfect spot for watching the sunrise. Excellent staff members. Very kind and relaxed, not pushing. Very willing to help. We could leave our backpacks in a locked room while we did another trip of 2 nights. Helped us book every single detail of our trip. Arranged a comfortable stay at the illala ferry in detail. Butterfly is a hidden gem. The room was cosy and quirky. The lake views were a delight and I was so comfortable. The bar and deck was probably my most favourite thing. It’s such a beautiful setting and a great place to meet fellow travellers and volunteers while watching fishermen drift pass in their dug outs.
