It was a lovely 4 days trip in this place. The room is clean and have all the facilities you need. The location is great, few minutes walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The hosts are super nice and very helpful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Mauritius.

I could not have wished for better hosts. Nothing was too much for them both. They have a lovely family and work very hard keeping the guests looked after. They went out of their way to do a little shopping for us before we arrived for essentials etc. Tea - Coffee Milk and snacks etc. The balcony area was really cosy and the gardens below well maintained with sub-tropical plants etc. Had a wonderful stay and a big thank-you to the family x

The staff was amazing. Everyone was very nice. Deevesh was very kind and always offering help and giving suggestions. But in general all of them were super. Food was really great. Every night, the dinner offer was changed to increase variety. Rooms were very clean. Pool staff really kind and polite.

I recently stayed at this stunning villa, and I can't recommend it enough! This place is super nice, so peaceful and cozy, making it the perfect beach getaway. The interior is top-notch, featuring beautiful furniture and lovely wooden accents that add a warm touch. All the three bedrooms are all so nice and equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a very useful water filter. One of my favorite features was the bar inside the villa—it’s such a cool addition! Plus, having direct access to the beach is a huge advantage and the nearby forest offers excellent hikes to Tamarin. Michael, our host, was a pleasure to deal with and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I’d rate this villa a perfect 10/10! The only tip I’d suggest is to hire a car during your stay, as it’s about a 4-minute drive from the city center of Flic en Flac.

We had the pleasure of being the first guests to stay at this amazing property, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive from the moment I booked, making the whole process smooth and welcoming. The apartment itself is modern, stylish, and extremely comfortable. Everything is brand new and thoughtfully designed, with a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, smart TV, and air conditioning in every room. It really felt like a home away from home. The location is also ideal – peaceful and secure, yet close to everything you might need, including shops, restaurants etc. Definitely one of the best stays we’ve had. We would gladly come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to stay.

    Walking on the beach was fun, and the water allowed easy swimming even for the not-so-strong swimmer. The food carts added restaurant variety. We had good meals at Bouganvillea and Chez Pepe, but also enjoyed eating in and watching the sunset. Lovely shopping, interesting people, and the public bus service worked for us. However, it was interesting that the same trip was free outbound and then cost 100 rupees (3 people) for the return trip (with no tickets issued).

    Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius,...

    Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius, especially if you're visiting Mauritius in July. North was windy, south rainy but west side just perfect. It is a nice, vaste sandy beach with pine trees and palm trees, nice hotels and resorts, bars, restaurants and street food.

    We liked our chosen accommodation, we had a good view of the beach from our balcony, the staff were great and we want to go back to sample lunch at the Creole Shack! The beach was lovely and safe for swimming and there was a good variety of eateries from beach stalls to high end restaurants and all manner of cuisines. Everything is in walking distance and four km in land there is a very large mall being built and a new state of the art hospital. We will definitely be going back.

    Good vibe, nice restaurants, felt safe, fantastic snorkeling opportunities from the beach, convenient shopping mall at Cascavelle for groceries, etc. Proximity to Tamarin to catch catamaran trip. As a family of 5 we rented a car, which worked out very well. Taxis are expensive if you want to get around with 5 people, simply to do shopping, etc.

    Very pretty beach for a swim or picnic, parking can be tricky so if you see a spot take it :), the sand is soft but there is some coral on the beach and water if you have sensitive feet pack some water shoes. Lovely location for a swim and relax.

    Flic-en-Flac offers not a fancy stay, but congenial, friendly, and economical environment. Swimming in the ocean or taking a mile long running along the shore allows visitors to stay in good health while traveling. This is one of the very rare spot visitors get to mingle with Mauritian residents more closely, unlike in other fancy hotels. FNF is relatively a residents' beach retreat with great sunset scene.

    Excellent location within Flic en Flac and Mauritius as a whole. Villa is in a secure, private location. Loads of room and all the facilites you could need. Owner was there to meet us and showed us around and made us most welcome. Also kept in touch during our stay to ensure all was okay. Plenty of bars and restaurants very near - most of very good standard. Easy walk to the beach. Very large pool - which was very refreshing after a hot, sticky day out. For location and facilities it is very good value for money.

    Perfect hotel for our stay in Mauritius! Excellent value for money. Located in Flic en Flac, only a few minutes walk to the beach and close to the city center with many restaurants. Restaurant was well set up for breakfast. They also have dinner with show. Thank you to the Seastar staff who are all very friendly and helpful, and especially a huge thank you to Valerie who went out of her way to help us with everything from car rental to boat trips. She is the best employee a hotel could ever wish for!

    Excellent Location and the property just on the beach. Be it the bed or furniture and utensils in kitchen, each and everything were meticulously taken care of. I must call out the super friendly approach and responsiveness of staff specifically the Property Manager Jeremy and house caretaker Prema. I strongly recommend Cap Ouest by Horizon Holidays to anyone traveling to Flic en Flac beach in Mauritius.

    Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent, just across the street from arguably the best beach in Mauritius. While the food choice was not over the top, the quality of food was excellent, including tuna, prawns, octopus, squids, and crab soup for dinner.
