Marsakala is a lovely place.
Marsakala is a lovely place. The locals are so friendly and helpful. There is a regular bus services that can take you all over the island. Enough restaurants to choose. Really nice beaches and very safe circumstansies for a walk in the municipalitiy. Well equiepped shops, kind staff anywhere. Buses are clean and fast, we were satisfied with them. Missing some cultural evenings (e.g. concerts) - our stay was at the end of September. Quiet fishing bay with more locals than tourists. Water is super clean here and safe swimming straight off the rocks. Great beach bars with tasty food and fantastic happy hours. Relaxing village with an active but not too busy, harbour. Mainly the local Maltese and tourists with families or couples/small groups. Not many from England. Great pizza parlour on the harbour. I wouldn't recommend the town because everything is full of garbage. People just throw garbage on the streets. I liked the promenade by the sea. Public transport is good. The town is well connected by bus lines.Guest review byKristina
