I mistakenly booked the wrong dates for this accommodation. A refund was not possible, but our host offered us the dates we wanted to stay at no extra charge. He was true to his word! Oukaimeden is a beautiful place. Our host, Rachid, was exceptionally helpful during our short stay. The Gite was basic, but comfortable, and had better WiFi than anywhere we stayed in Morocco this year. Breakfast was good, and Rachid has a small restaurant a few minutes walk away from the Gite where a lovely tagine for dinner is available.

I sent my mom and brother for a short break and they loved it , everything was perfect View , clean , stuff, comfort everything literally was super good .. If you Wana feel home with some local vibe don't hesitate to stay here. And special thanks to Hamza especially for his kindness as well hassan they make their best to make you feel home and comfortable. The staff were fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Amazing meals. The location is hard to get to and you should call them before so they pick you up from the village. But the view is 100% worth it:)

Everything! The room smelled nice, it had beautiful toilet and balcony. The rooftop terrace was huge, breakfast was included. You could see the mountains all over the place. The room had very warm and soft blankets, bed was spacious, area was very silent.

Saíd, our fabulous host, organised a driver to & from the airport. Everything went smoothly, even though we were later than expected on arrival. We were welcomed into Saíd's home and looked after by the whole family with home cooked meals and mint tea. Our room had a magnificent view of the mountains and was very comfortable with it's own en suite. There is a sitting room with television (streaming everything in every language) and a rooftop terrace. You can choose to dine inside or out, both with mountain views. Our time with Saíd & family was memorable and we feel privileged to have experienced some of the Berber culture in our 10 days. Saíd is knowledgeable about the hikes in the area having previously been a guide. If you are in need of a guide whilst here he is happy to arrange this also. I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful Ríad. A great place to base yourself whilst in the Atlas mountains.
