The chateau museum, exhibition and tour was fantastic.
The chateau museum, exhibition and tour was fantastic. Highly recommend taking the time to see the exhibition before touring the chateau. We also took the chairlift up to the high viewing point and had a few drinks. Not the cheapest but nowhere in Luxembourg is cheap. The views were great and it was worth the trip. We also visited the newly refurbished open air swimming pool which the kids loved and added a bit of relaxation to the trip. It was very clean and well maintained. It’s very beautiful and cozy city with great views.
It’s very beautiful and cozy city with great views. Not a lot of fancy restaurants but there are few decent one. A lot of things to do there, hiking, visit castle, walk around the city. The area is fantastic for a motorcycling holiday.
The area is fantastic for a motorcycling holiday. You can get there easily in a day, just use the autoroutes for the first couple of hours to get past the boring bit of France and Belgium. The roads in the area are really good for riding, very good surface, no gravel, all types of bens - fast sweepers to hairpins. The town is very bike friendly. A lovely place to visit for a number of reasons - attractions, hiking, dining etc. Easy to get to but within the town can be hard to get around because it is on a hill. Riverside area is really relaxing.Guest review byRichardLuxembourg

The goal was to see the place and also go to Luxemburg City. This plan was successfully fulfilled. Moreover, due to the kind advice of the lady in the reception, we went to the city by public transport which is comfortable and free of charge.
