Location was great! Mr. Janaka, the owner and host of the property showed absolute professionalism and an extremely kind attitude, a true Military Leader. The caretakers Suranga and his wife were absolutely amazing. The hospitality, flexibility and caring nature was beyond expectations. Only drawback - you would never want to leave this place, it grows in you and you’ll feel it’s home! 😊

Absolutely beautiful place with an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, making the experience truly special. A massive shoutout to the amazing manager, Tina, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect! Every detail of this unique stay has been carefully thought through. We stayed in the villa at the top, which offered a stunning view thanks to the large panoramic doors and windows. We stayed in Room 19, which turned out to be spacious and cozy. It had all the necessary amenities: air conditioning, a comfortable bed and mattress (just like home), new beautiful and comfortable furniture, nice bathroom with a large shower, a bidet, and a washing machine. We were pleased to have a kitchen, a refrigerator, and household items. The territory is simply magnificent, it was looked after every day, the place is full of beautiful trees where birds sing and build nests. You can see how grows mango, papaya, lime, bamboo, etc. It’s like a paradise. There’s also a pool on the premises. It was nice to dip in and spend time there. Staff:
 The first thing that comes to mind about the staff is their smiles and politeness. I thank everyone who works in this place for their kindness and friendliness. Sasini always tried to assist us with any inquiries: helping with little requests, organizing excursions, and you could talk to her about the culture and traditions in Sri Lanka. She was very responsive and kind, even giving me a small gift to remember our stay. Driver Sandaru was always friendly and quickly took us to the necessary places in a tuk-tuk. He recommended visit a turtle hatchery and took us to nice beaches: Dalawela Beach and Jungle Beach, which are not far from the villa. He even gifted us some incense, it was nice. Every 3-4 days, we were offered cleaning, and they vacuumed, changed the sheets, towels, and wiped all surfaces and mirrors. However, you could also request cleaning earlier if needed. Breakfast was included in the price:
A buffet was offered mostly local food, but it was always varied. One day my wife mentioned that she likes the Aralia flower, and later the staff presented it to her just like that, it was a very kind and nice gesture.

Everything was truly excellent. The aesthetics of the resort are absolutely beautiful and calming, the rooms are nicely decorated and the bathroom is really spacious and clean. The bed slept super comfortable. Breakfast was truly delicious, coffee great too. Really everything was brilliant. Felt totally at ease staying at this resort. Wish we could stay longer!

We LOVED the sun house, even though we have always stayed in really nice places in Sri Lanka, this was by far the best. The location is great, you pay around 200 LKR to go to Galle Fort. The garden and the house itself is beautiful. The food was great, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Really good value for money and super tasty. And the staff was simply amazing. There was always someone around and usually we even didn’t have to say anything- when we left the room, they would think of cleaning our room, if we lay down by the pool they would bring water. They remember all our wishes for breakfast (eg no bananas) and we never had to ask for it again. I want to particularly point out the service of Priyantha and Tharindu, they were lovely and always had a nice story to tell or a recommendation to give. Thank you so much for making our stay special

The Galle Heritage Villa is really a fantastic place to stay in Galle. Ideally located in a nice central street of the Galle Fort, this beautifully renovated colonial house is perfect. Very warm welcome from the people managing the place, very quiet area and room, at our arrival, and all along the stay. The Villa is decorated with a perfect taste and refinement, large common areas, a nice yard with trees, grass, amchairs and garlands of lights at night. We stayed in one of the 2 rooms at the frist floor. Our room was very accommodating and spacious, with a kettle for making tea and coffee. Here also a refined choice of teas. The bathroom was huge with every possible comfort and nicely decorated. The value for money was really good. Do not hesitate one second!
