We were lucky to get an authentic insight into the real Sri Lanka and the local culture. Our host Prashan was incredibly warm and welcoming – we can highly recommend this accommodation! The accommodation: The room was clean, well-furnished, and equipped with a fan and mosquito net. The small private pool was a real highlight – and all of this at a very fair price. The food: The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. There was a huge variety, and always more than enough. The host: Prashan speaks perfect English, which made communication very easy. He is extremely friendly, helpful, and always there to support with advice and assistance. He really caters to the wishes and needs of his guests, and shares fascinating insights into nature, culture, and everyday life in Sri Lanka. His hospitality is truly impressive. The activities: We went on a TukTuk tour together and visited a breathtaking waterfall, went on a beautiful mountain hike with spectacular views, explored a riverbed, and watched giant bats in the evening. It was a one-of-a-kind experience that we’ll never forget! We felt safe and well taken care of at all times, as Prashan accompanied us throughout and made us feel completely at ease.

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The place is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos, with a charming and cozy atmosphere. The owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, especially when we decided to rent a scooter. His support made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience!

Lovely serene grounds with some very new individuals villas - some with a pool and some without. Super clean, nice staff and great location if you drive your own Tuktuk or are happy to book one for transport to Pinnawala (10 mins drive away).

Unbelievable good, the place is amazing. Everything is new and good quality There is a small rooftop infinity pool with a view of the jungle. The room has full length picture windows. The staff; Lakshitha and Guyan did everything we wanted and much more. They can arrange for an evening meal because, once you arrive you will not want to leave

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. This hotel and the views are just wow. We booked the room with the terrace and river view. The sound of the river was so soothing. Wish I could stay there forever. The place is worth more than the price we paid. The room was spacious, with comfortable bed. The pool is open till late at night, and the garden is well taken care of. The staff were helpful when needed. You can swim in the pool while watching the elephants having a bath in the river. The best view ever. The location is very good also with some souvenir shops and restaurants around + a herbal garden where you can have a massage and steam bath at a reasonable price I highly highly recommend it and wish I could come back, as this place is like heaven on earth

The room was quite spacious, very clean and well equiped. Also the bathroom looks pretty new. You can enjoy some fresh air at the balcony. The location is perfect and just across Elephant Orphenage.

    The town is just a town with shops, supermarket etc. For food, my tour guide Prashan brought me to Upcountry Restaurant which is a nice place with a beautiful scenery. :) Go for the attractions like Bible Rock, Saradiel Hill etc. They are nice.
