Hemantha, the owner and manager of hotel and his son Dulana have built a truly beautiful pearl in the middle of the rainforest. With excellent English, they took care of us and fulfilled all our wishes. This is our fifth time in Sri Lanka, but we visited Kitulgala for the first time during our travels and I can recommend this area to everyone to visit. Waterfalls in the middle of the forest and rafting on the river are among the great experiences that this hotel offers you at a very fair price. And then you can let yourself be pampered in the comfort of the hotel with great food and enjoy a bath in the beautiful natural pool or right in the small clean river that flows around the hotel. The room was huge and had an amazing mountain view.. really! The host was helpful and despite not great English language skills, he and his family were super helpful and even organized rafting for us,which was really fun!

Mona, her aunt and her boy Shaun are just adorable. The place is unique and when you arrive, you find yourself away from everything in the middle of the jungle, it’s absolutely stunning. There is wildlife, beautiful birds dancing and a natural pool that is incredible. I am a solo mum traveler with my toddler and it was beautiful to see our sons play together. She even watched my boy so I could get enjoy the natural pool. Mona is a cool and lovely woman and I loved how her and aunty are running thia place. I would love to come back! Dinner was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka! Absolutely loved this place!

    "I had an amazing stay here! The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking lush green mountains and a beautiful river below – the perfect place to relax and connect with nature. The hotel also offers exciting adventure activities, which made the experience even more memorable. It’s a great balance of comfort, stunning scenery, and outdoor fun.     Peaceful location, all the staff were really lovely. Hotel arranged a guide to take us to Mannakethi waterfalls which were only 15 minutes away. The waterfalls were really beautiful, we had a swim in the natural pool and were the only people there. The hotel also provided us with transport and safe driver to our next stop Nuwara Eliya.
