    We actually stayed in Kabalana which is just 25 min walk or...

    We actually stayed in Kabalana which is just 25 min walk or 5 min tuk tuk drive from Ahangama. It was the right decision as Ahangama was twice as busy and Kabalana beach was way better. Restaurants near us were really nice too and with the most famous night club in Sri Lanka called Trax round the corner!

    Ahangama is great for surfing, restaurants and social life!

    Ahangama is great for surfing, restaurants and social life! There are some weekly parties in town and a lot of solo travellers which can be met on social hostels, all around the town and at the beach. Loved Ahangama and it gave me very homey feeling, came back after seen the island a bit more!

    Definitely a quieter side of Sri Lanka, though its picking up and the nice part is if you have transport you can go visit the other beaches which are all in the same line and about 20-30 minutes distance within each other. There's a lot to do in terms if shopping some knick knacks, enjoying the food and some drinks as well. You just need to ask the locals where they go and what they like and you're bound to have a memorable time.

    We loved everything about our stay at The Find. The vibe and the staff were excellent, the location was great and the room amazing. The overall aesthetics were 10/10 from the moment you entered the lobby and no detail has been spared - including a full length mirror in the room (which in Sri Lanka is rare!). Also a great area to chill downstairs by the pool or the bar, lots of shade and direct access to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be booking here again.

    We absolutely loved it, and ended up extending our stay. It is an Oasis a 5-10 min moped ride from the Main Street. Felt very luxurious and we were well looked after by the very friendly Sri Lankan staff and Eggplant the dog. The property looks out onto the river which we took a canoe out on guided by a local man, which can be arranged through the hotel. Food and drink was delicious, best tea I had in Sri Lanka

    The place is very nice and clean and nicely designed. The people who work there are very nice too. The hotel is only a 5 minutes walk away from a nice beach and 5 min by tuktuk to the center. The food is great too, I recommend to order the Sri Lanka curry. The included breakfast is nice too. Maybe would be great to have some local breakfast options included too.

    Hotel Nuvin in Ahangama, Sri Lanka is a gem! Beachfront bliss, a cool pool, and just a hop away from other beaches and great dining spots. The room's large bed was super comfy, and the staff were so friendly. Plus, three adorable dogs added extra joy to our stay. Loved all the little details at this place. Can't wait to return!

    The most beautiful location surrounded by nature. The room was perfect and the bathroom design was incredible. True luxury. The staff were also very lovely, friendly and super helpful. You can enjoy there Sri Lanka breakfast made from products they grown in the area. Would highly recommend.
