Henry, the manager welcomed us making us feel at home and offering often to provide anything we could need. Located in the banks of Mekong, where you have a stunning view and just a few minutes from the center, driving motorbike rented by the resort, is an Oasis of tranquility in the busy Luang Prabang. Delicious breakfast taken while looking at the Mekong. Tradicional houses were brought in pieces from their, original villages and rebuilt there, creating a sophisticated and unique atmosphere.

I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

This place is really cool. I had a wonderful stay here. It’s safe and comfort. Convenient location, especially if you decide to stay longer in Luang Prabang. The view on the river from the terrace is truly stunning. Amazing sunsets. There is a 7eleven store in 100 meters but also a huge local market so you can find anything you are able to get in Luang Prabang.

We were planning to stay for one night but extended for two more nights because we loved it so much! Pinky was the most amazing host and made us feel so welcome. She gave us recommendations on where to go, we could take bicycles for free and there is a free shuttle to the night market. The pool is incredible the beds are really good, there is a smart tv so you can watch Netflix, a fully stocked mini fridge and fresh towels every day. Even after my stay when I accidentally left my card in an ATM machine I could message Pinky and she helped me find the right resources to get it back. She’s honestly the nicest person ever. Thank you so much for our incredible stay!

If you are a nature lover looking for a mix of outdoor activities or relaxation away from the crowds, this is the place to be. The bungalows are nice and clean, the food is fresh and delicious and the staff very friendly and supportive. The pool is nice and refreshing and you can book herbal baths and massages. Hillside offers several hiking tours in the surroundings - either with a guide or on your own and can assist to book tours. Nam Dong Park is in walking distance and is not to miss - you can Zipline here, hike, relax or do some craft or cooking classes. We hope to be back sometime!
