Walkable from Tsuwano station. The reception staff were very kind. As a solo traveller I prefer to get a plan with breakfast and dinner and I enjoyed the diverse and delicious meals at Yutorelo Tsuwano. Each meal has great variety and menus don't repeat from day to day so you get the opportunity to eat different food. I enjoyed the free tea, coffee, snack and drinks offered in the "cafe". As for sight-seeing in Tsuwano, the town presents the sites with a range of ukiyo-e pictures to show the historical landscapes and townscapes and we can see what remains today. A lot of the town is well preserved from the Edo period. Both the Inari shrine and the Tsuwano castle involves some hiking so the hotel's shared onsen bath is a treat to come back to after a day of exploring. If you are a day-tripper you can leave your luggage at the kind bike shop in front of the station and cover the town by pedal power. If you come on weekends you can catch the old steam train which runs from Tsuwano to Yamaguchi

The host Manami made us feel like home! She speaks great English and made the check-in experience very smooth. Would recommend this hostel for anyone going to Tsuwano.

Everything. The reception area , bar/restaurant area ( absolutely no food smell whichever fantastic!! ) and the Onsen area are lovely. Our room was fantastic, super clean, all you need and very stylish and the bed super comfortable. Wonderful linen and amenities with a thoughtful concern for the environment. The people are just all lovely, very helpful and very well organised . Many thanks again to everyone for the fantastic and very kind service 🙏🙏🙏. The rooms are quite small, but very comfortable. Also, since it's the cheapest place in Masuda, it's the best place to stay if you're on a budget. The complimentary breakfast is great and the staff is wonderful. I accidentally overslept past the check-out time and the staff were very kind about it. Even though the bathrooms are shared, they are very clean and well-kept. There is also a bowling alley, karaoke, and a movie theater in the same building. Only about a 10 minute walk from Masuda Station. I highly recommend staying here.

Incredible location nestled right by the sea, boasting a charming interior where the owner runs a delightful restaurant. Despite my brief stay, I am already eager to return. Highly recommend for both accommodation and exploring Masuda city!
