One of the most comfortable places we have stayed in, in a very long time. Spotlessly clean. Fresh flowers, snacks on arrival. Clean, beyond comparison. This is not a place to stay if you want city life. It is a super quiet village. The observatory behind the house is one of the best cherry blossom destinations we have been to. 1 - Must go to the Yutoku Onsen.
1 - Must go to the Yutoku Onsen. Beautiful outdoor pools (busy around 7pm, lots of locals with kids), very tasty restaurant - great bargain ¥1000 for the onsen AND dinner included. Massage, etc facilities on site. 2 - Town is cute with lots of ceramics everywhere for great instagram moments. 3 - MUST go up to the Okawachiyama pottery village - take the back roads, as they are beautiful. 15 minute or less drive, 1 hour bike ride or so.Guest review bySarahJapan
