The Staff were amazing and very helpful. Lots of Attack on Titan merchandise to look at & can also buy some. The location is perfect and the room was quite spacious.

We drove to this place and they welcome us at the car park. The staffs were very very helpful. Check in was smooth and we got a surprise upgrade from the boss. It was indeed a wonderful Christmas present for our family. The room, the food, the vibes were exceeding our expectation. I will definitely recommend my friend and will also come back again in the future.

Just amazing! So many beautiful details everywhere on the property and the rooms like ikebana, face mask, private dining room for everyone, all electricity outlets covered with different prints, unique furniture..So much love and thought was put into everything. The staff and the owner went the extra mile eg special drop off time, adjusted breakfast time just for me..The breakfast and dinner were out of this world delicious.

Great experience of staying here. It was calm and relaxing to have open air bath in the middle of forest. We could see tranquil atmosphere of Amagase onsen village with wall-like mountain alongside the river. Kaiseki dinner was fantastic. We could see true Japanese hospitality here. We had a great stay at this place which had everything you need for a peaceful retreat and relaxation. Private onsen, balcony with river view, extra large beds (had a best sleep ever) and incredibly helpful and kind staff. Just wish we could have stayed longer

    We visited in the off season, so not much was going on,...

    We visited in the off season, so not much was going on, although we knew that and it was all right. Onta Yaki Pottery Village was a terrific day trip, although we did have to take a long taxi ride to get there. We loved the friendly, humorous, laid-back style of the people in Hita - really lovely folks!

    I loved this town and could easily live here.

    I loved this town and could easily live here. I was lucky enough to catch Ukai (cormorant fishing on the Mikuma River while enjoying a dinner cruise). It has a laid-back vibe, with some excellent dining options close to the station. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to spend more time in this beautiful town.

    The old downtown area was so cute and the Attack on Titan...

    The old downtown area was so cute and the Attack on Titan locations were really fun to visit. The food in the area was very delicious, but many places closed early or required reservations for dinner.
