I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to the finer details and the hotel seemed to have an old world maritime-aerial theme. Quite appropriate for an Airport hotel situated on a small manmade island, in the Ise Bay of Tokoname city. The front of house girls were extra helpful and we met a very lovely bartender, during happy hour, who again gave me some peace in knowing there are some lovely souls out there, just doing their job but are just as curious as a visitor is to get to know more about the world. Her professionalism and ease of conversation in what must be a second or third language was just the perfect note to finish our holiday in Japan. Plus the perfect kickoff to our mini stay at Singapore on our way home to Sydney.

They had a shuttle bus from the hotel but it only took us around the airport to the hotel which is great if you are staying just one night but we found out there was a different shuttle bus called "Tokonyan" and that will take you to Aeon for free and pick up is just behind the hotel. Though Toyoko-inn is known for a business hotel among the country, it was fairly comfortable and great Japanese breakfast, the price point is unbeatable.

Other attractions were boat racing and Costco Wholesale store next to Aeon mall. Some bus rides were free. Tokoname is also close to the International Airport.

    the breakfast offer many options, everything is tasty and nice. hotel is clean and easy access to many places. there is a convenience store around the hotel entrance and many restaurants in airport terminal, good choice to travellers.

    Close proximity to the Nagoya Centrair Airport (6mins drive). Early breakfast available at 630am. Aeon Mall just 10mins walk from hotel. The train station is also just 1 mins walk from the hotel entrance.
