Our time at RIAREL was great - the room with bathroom was spacious, new and exceptionally clean, as well as the common areas; we had no issues whatsoever. The place is tucked away from traffic in the small village of Rodero, a good location to visit Como and the surrounding areas within a short drive. Don't worry about the 'self-serve' breakfast: it's generous, with plenty of choice and of good quality; the kitchen is well kept and you have everything you need to cook meals for yourself. Carlo is an exceptional host, friendly and kind, and provided some good tips for restaurants and things to do during our short stay.

I loved the jasmine smell all around. Beautiful garden & nice bohemian vibe all around. Breakfast was nice, excellent coffee, nice staff, lovely town centre. The room was small but comfortable, 4 pillows for 2 guests.

I really enjoyed my visit to this hotel. I give it a five star rating. The staff were welcoming and courteous at all times. the rooms were comfortable and. the breakfast buffet offered a delicious variety of good quality food. The whole place was top notch. I'll always remember this lovely hotel and plan to return.
