The location was the biggest draw card for us.
The location was the biggest draw card for us. We didn’t need luxury because we planned to be out exploring. Porto Conte was clean, the family who run it do a brilliant job looking after guests and the breakfast was generous and fresh. It’s a 10 minute drive from the sandy beaches and Porto Conte park, about 20 minutes to Alghero, but it’s cut off from the noise making it very peaceful. The house is lovely, large garden, beautiful porch - perfect for easy mornings and chill evenings. Caterina and her husband were great hosts - they were there for anything I needed and served up breakfast at the agreed time out on the porch.
