Very lovely small village, the home of Padre (Saint) Pio, with nice residents. Pietrelcina is surrounded with a nice countryside, to walk or explore it with any means of transportation. Nice food, ice creams, treat, hot drinks, local traditional food, and more to try, highly recommended! Fresh food everywhere in this tiny village. Good prices. The locals are very helpful people, willing to serve others with their best knowledge or service, including the church wardens and all the personnel of the museum or parish shop & tourist information center point. Nice souvenir shops. Walkable village, where you can enjoy your stay in various ways.
