Staying in such a well preserved castle was definitely value for money ! The staff was friendly (they actually gave as a tour to the castle's rooms and gave as a brief history). The castle itself is beautifully well kept as are the surroundings. Made good use of the fantastic pool area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we arrived Orlando (one of the owners) greeted us with a handshake and showed us around the hotel and the grounds. Breakfast was excellent, especially on those days we could sit out on the balcony looking over the countryside. Could not recommend this hotel strongly enough.Guest review byErikbseIceland

For a complete experience and feel of the place, one should try to have a room within the castle, but we appreciate the apartment with a washing machine as we’ve been on the road for a few days. It has an interesting historic interior but the bedrooms are newly done up with modern comforts. The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had, so much choice and located in a frescoed dining room.
